Meet Nick Fazio

Most people who find me aren't in crisis — they're succeeding. Demanding careers, full lives, and a financial picture that's genuinely strong. What they don't have is the time or energy at the end of a long day to give their retirement plan the attention it deserves. They know the pieces are there. They just need someone they trust to put it all together, so they can keep doing what they do best.

If that sounds familiar, I built this practice for you.

Nick Fazio, CPA, CFA, CFP®, fee-only and fiduciary retirement planner.

How I Got Here

Chattahoochee Wealth was born out of a simple but important question I kept asking myself: What kind of life do I want to live?

That question goes back to my days at PwC. The work was exciting and intellectually challenging, but the hours and intensity didn’t line up with the priorities I wanted for my life. Even after those long days, I’d still find myself researching investments at night — a reminder that my true interests were always pulling me in another direction.

I made the switch into wealth management, spending the next four years at two different firms. Both gave me invaluable experience, but over time I developed strong convictions — about investing, about planning, and about how clients should be served. And I realized the only way to truly deliver advice with full conviction was to build something of my own.

At the same time, my personal life was changing. After years of Big 4 hours, long nights earning the CFA® and CFP® designations, and the arrival of our first child, flexibility and quality time at home became more important than ever.

So I launched Chattahoochee Wealth — my best attempt yet to stop putting life off until “later” and start building it now. Many of the clients I work with are living a version of that same tension — successful by every measure, but wondering if the trade-offs are still worth it. My mission is to help them get clear on what they have, where they want to go, and the best path to get them there, so they can get back to living the life they’ve worked so hard to build.
